  i have a question for the author of the website jwfacts.

  as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.

  "the bible abounds in vivid fantasy, such as its many celestial descriptions, or the portrayal of warring kingdoms with imaginary beasts.. the sparlock message is confusing, as much for an adult as for a child, as the bible shows that god's followers practice magic, even if they are usually referred to as miracles.

  i just wanted to know why you chose your particular screen name and/or avatar.

  as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.

  for some reason the doubts came lurking back again.

  i know this religion is messed up because a person should not be having creeping doubts surface up like this.

  i have not posted or logged on to this site in a very long time.

  Still Thinking- Good observation about the glass. But, let's leave the semantics (or some antics) to our friends here. It really doesn't matter what kind of glass sits atop my head, does it? No, ST. All that matters is what we pour into it and what we drink out of it!!! Keep it pouring, I say. Now, drink up and I'll give you a refill!

  Funny, Sol, I would have sworn you chose the name because of the jewel encrusted CROWN upon your head and the wisdom that springs forth from your mouth. Guess, I was wrong about that, too?

  when my mom died i couldn't cry.. she had had cancer before and had beaten it.

  you brace yourself.

  you wait.. but, she recovered and life went on.

  Terry, I'm positive that what I may say may sound negative. Anyway, here I go.

  Before I started to put together the pieces of the WT puzzle to reveal it's true picture, I had started to withdraw from "negative" people in the congregation.

  What I found was I was alone, a lot. I could no longer deal with all the negativity, as I was dealing with a terminally ill mother and my own serious health issues.

  The "friends" spent a lot of their time unburdening themselves to me with all their problems, without concern or understanding of the heavy burdens I carried. And, honestly, their complaints were nothing extraordinary. Nothing deep or meaningful. Just even the tone of their "Hello's were negative.

  In any event, now the positive. If I had not removed myself from them, I probably would still be lying to myself about TTATT.

  I am happier since I removed the toxic people from my life. I am healthier, too.

  That kind of negative thinking permeates and is contagious. I don't want to contaminate other people and I think I have found the immunity from that disease.

  Time away from that gives time for introspection. I think that's the antidote. Everything in moderation.

  So, like you, I'm trying to balance and equalize.

  WMF- FYI, I am a majestic tree, with an antenna on my head in which I pick up signals. Can't you hear the frequency, Kenneth?

  My limbs are twisted, one raised to the sky, upward, reaching, as I search for the greater meaning.

  The other is outstretched to welcome.

  My roots are firmly planted.

  My eye is large so I can SEE all things clearly.
